Rihanna Digipak Analysis
On the front cover of the digipak it displays a close up shot of her face mainly displaying her facial expression and features which is a pretty neutral look just with her looking down. It also shows off her natural beauty as she does not have a dramatic make up look she has toned it down and kept it natural which could reflect through her music within the album it could resemble the fact her songs do not have much editing or additonal tracks added to them it is mainly just her voice. Rihanna is a popular artist who is also known for her dramatic and varied styles
Looking at Rihanna's digipak we can see she has used a lot of red throughout her digipak. Red can be used as a representation of many things but in her case it could be more love and lust related. The inside of the digipak where the disc would sit you can see her lying across a bush of roses where the red stands out more than anything else. also by selecting to use 'rose' flowers could also indicate that she is portraying the theme of 'love' on this digipak as they are considered as a romantic gesture if gifted to a female commonly on valentines day
Also her hair colour in these images are bright red which could add a more personal touch to her album and show that she is quite a passionate person and that the content held in the digipak could be too do with love and romance.
