We have selected the beach as one of our locations because it is usually considered a place of 'relaxation' but also because it could be a place where he had has memories with the girl in the song.
We have thought about using a bedroom in the video because the boy is reminiscing about this girl he used to once be close with and how he doesn't want too be alone, so this is a good place showing his emotions and regret he feels upon himself.
We have selected the forest because indie/folk videos are filmed in this location and the whole genres look and feel is about enjoying yourself and being free to enjoy yourself and exploring new adventures , which can be done in this type of location.
We have selected the barn because it is often associated and used in many indie/folk genre music video's, as its a nice and friendly location where everyone is enclosed and together.
We think a field would also be suited for our music video because it is a large open space where we would be able to film several shots from which could be included in the video several times for different sections like reminiscing about her having flowers in her hair which they may have found in the field and could be a highlighted moment or we could film a young boy and girl playing representing them in their younger years.
