P!NK - Just like Fire analysis
When looking at the representation in the music video Just like fire by Pink we can see that her costume is very unique and colourful.
Looking at her costumes in these photos we can see she is wearing black and white. The short black dress and her different unique choice of hats may resemble her dark and more powerful side.
She also wears more colourful and vibrant outifts again showing her unique side as an individual and seperating herself from other similar artists. That would usually be considered to wear more 'Normal' and 'simple' clothing. P!nks choice iof design shows off her personality portraying it to be very wild and confident with her not worrying too much about the way she looks to people in comparison to a large proportion of our society constantly wanting to look like other people. In that way she is a good role model dispalying a positive attitiude however in some of her videos she may be abit wild and may contian aspects of alcohol and partying so shed be more relatable and influencial to people aged between 18-25.
Also when looking at the lighting within the video it is mostly during day light mostly outside. But at the beginning she is in a pink and old styled room which is very open and lighted by windows brining in more light which could resemble her being a very open.
When listening to the lyrics and words she sings in this paticular song we it seems like she is singing about a relationship. Refering to lyrics such as "You and me together, forever and ever, We don't have to worry 'bout a thing, 'bout a thing" we can infer that she is describing herself and someone else being strong. However, most of the words link to her being unique and not like anyone else which is also shown through her choice of clothing and how she is dressed throughout the video one minute beining part of a chess board and themn shown at the end getting taken somewhere for being 'crazy'.
